Well sort of....
I used the idea of reading across American to engage students in a Reading Challenge! By reading a minimum of 15-20 mins. a day, Jefferson students can reach a combined school total of 60,000 minutes! So far Mrs. Hill's 5th grade class has read a over 14,000 minutes! way to go 5th graders :)

Both 4th Grade Classes together (Sean Keller and Beverley Thiele) read over 20,000 mins!!!!
Lisa Rossi's 2nd grade class read over 7,000 mins!
Beth Trevor's 1st grade class read over 5,000 mins!
Mrs. Tong's and Marguerite's Kindergarten classes read over 1,000 mins. together!!! yay Kindergarteners!
will Jefferson Elementary reach the big 60,000....
